“Friendship first, Competition second”
In 1971, nine players from the US Table Tennis team traveled to China, the first since the Communist Revolution, and paved the way to open diplomatic relations between the two nations. The resulting exchange became known as “Ping Pong Diplomacy”.
In the same way that sport allows people of all backgrounds to come together, we believe filmmaking offers the same opportunity to create meaningful connections and deepen our understanding of humanity.
